NAHS Class of 2027 Announcements

ADD/DROP PERIOD for 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR (MAR 18-20)

REQUESTING CHANGES for 10th Grade Schedules:  Add/Drop for 24-25 School Year (March 18-20)

  • All course request changes must be submitted using the Add/Drop Google form which will be open from March 18-20

  • Schedule change requests sent via email WILL NOT be processed; counselors will only review and process requests submitted on the Add/Drop form.

  • Students/Parents will not receive status updates or notifications about requested changes; approved changes will be viewable in the Infinite Campus Academic Planner after spring break.

  • Counselors cannot accommodate any change requests via email, phone or in person. 

  • Students/Parents will receive an email receipt of their submission

  • NO CLASS CHANGE REQUESTS for 2024-25 CLASSES CAN BE MADE AFTER MARCH 20, 2024

  • NO SCHEDULE CHANGES WILL BE MADE in AUGUST!

  • NO MIDYEAR SCHEDULE CHANGES WILL BE MADE in JANUARY 2025!

  • Students/Parents can access the Add/Drop Google form using the link below starting on March 18th.

  • No class changes for the 2024-25 school year will be accepted after the form closes on March 20, 2024

CLASS OF 2027 RISING 10TH GRADE PARENT SCHEDULING INFO/Q&A SESSIONS

  • Parents interested in learning more about their rising 10th grade student’s academic course placement and elective selections for next school year, are invited to attend one of our upcoming parent info sessions.

  • This will be parents’ opportunity to ask questions pertinent to your student’s 10th grade class schedule, academic plan, & the 2024-25 registration process/timeline. 

  • Sessions will be hosted by NAHS counselors Ms Marino & Ms Williams and will be held in person and via zoom.

  • Counselors will not be able to accommodate requests for individual parent meetings.

FRESHMEN reFESHMENt Spring 2024

Are you a freshman failing 1 or more core class?

If so, take advantage of FRESHMEN reFRESHMENt on Saturday, March 16 from 9am-1pm in the NAHS Cafeteria.

 

This is an opportunity for you to bring up your grade(s) and increase your chance of passing your classes this semester. A teacher from each core area will be available to assist students if needed, along with upperclassman peer tutors. Students can earn up to 80% credit for work completed during this time. Only 9th grade students who attend in-person will be eligible for this recovery opportunity.

JANUARY 29 - FEBRUARY 2:  Rising 10th Grade Classroom Lessons: Academic Review & 10th Grade Course Selection

MARCH 12-13:  Rising 10th Grade Parent Academic Advisement Q&A Sessions

MARCH 18-20:  Add/Drop Period: Schedule Changes for 2024-25 School Year

  • Student & Parent final opportunity to request class changes to their 10th grade year course requests.

  • Submit all course request changes using NAHS Add/Drop Google Form for 24-25

  • Link & QR Code to the Add/Drop Google form are provided on the hard copy of your student’s course request form

  • You will receive an email receipt of your submitted request (do not submit the same request multiple times)

  • Change requests sent via email WILL NOT be processed

  • Students/Parents can view the changes made thru Infinite Campus Parent Portal after Spring Break

Mock PSAT Opportunity at NAHS:  Saturday, Dec 2

 

Test drive the PSAT before you take the official test sophomore year. Applerouth's full-length practice exams provides a testing experience under test like conditions. Afterwards, you will receive a comprehensive score report that identifies strengths and targets areas for improvement, so you'll know exactly where to focus your prep before your official test day.

 

In partnership with Applerouth Tutoring, North Atlanta will be offering a Mock PSAT on Saturday, December 2nd from 9am-11:30am. This will be a digital test taken on the North Atlanta HS campus.

 

This is a great practice opportunity for current 9th graders interested in qualifying for the IB Diploma or IB Career-Related Programs.
